DATA AND INSTRUMENTATION

Each data file is saved in the miniSEED format. The example data name is following:

ZX_9EAA.2022.096.EHE

Where:
- "ZX_9EAA" indicates the digitizer name,
- "2022" is the year of the recording
- "096" is the Julain day of the recording
- "EHE" is the channel

Some of the digitizers with 6 channels had connected two types of sensors: LE-3Dlite 1s sensor and LE-3Dlite 5s sensor.
The data coming from LE-3Dlite 1s sensors is indicated with the first letter "E" in channel name (e.g.: "EHE").
The data coming from LE-3Dlite 5s sensors is indicated with the first letter "H" in channel name (e.g.: "HHE").

The component of the recording is indicated by the last letter in channel name"
- "E" corresponds to the East component (e.g.: "EHE"),
- "N" corresponds to the North component (e.g.: "EHN"),
- "Z" corresponds to the Vertical component (e.g.: "EHZ").

The East and North axes of the sensors were aligned with the main axes of the built structure (i.e. the North is tilted around 5 degrees towards East).

Sampling rate of the digitizers was set to 250 Hz.

Example PAZ files for the instrument response removal are attached:
- in folder /PAZ_files/1s_sensors e.g.: "RefTek130_Lennartz_3DLite_EHE" for LE-3Dlite 1s sensors connected to Reftek digitizer 
- in folder /PAZ_files/5s_sensors e.g.: "RefTek130_Lennartz_5sec_HHE" for LE-3Dlite 5s sensors connected to Reftek digitizer

In order to use e.g. SAC software for the response removal, the "STATION" and "CHANNEL" names have to be adjusted accordingly to the considered digitizer/station and channel.

INSTRUMENTAL SETUPS
-------------------

During the experiments, there were three instrumental setups:
1) without the structure (setup_1) - from 06.04.2022 till 9am 07.04.2022
2) with only structure instrumented (setup_2) - from 3pm 07.04.2022 till 10am 08.04.2022
3) with both structure and the surroundings instrumented (setup_3) - from 10am 08.04.2022 till the end of the experiment

The position of the sensors in each setup is in Excel files called "SETUP_1", "SETUP_2", and "STEUP_3". Those files contain the coordinates of the sensors location from GPS measurements. Labels indicate the digitisers names. Sensors with "_5s" indicate the 5s LE-3Dlite sensors.

The graphical representation of the instrumental setups layouts is in attached pdfs "setup_1", "setup_2", and "setup_3".

ACTIVE SOURCE
-------------

During the experiment, the active source was used in locations indicated by red stars in the "setup_1", "setup_2", and "setup_3" pdf files. 

The Excel file "active_source.xlsx" contains information about timing of the active source shots.

The details of the active source used in the experiment are in "manuali_carriola.pdf" (attached).

Files "10Hz-200Hz_30sec_taper0,50_0,50.su" and "10Hz-200Hz_30sec_taper0,50_0,50.wav" contain waveform of the used active source during the setup_3 measurements.
